If your child is interested in joining the club, or simply finding out more, please get in touch with one of the contacts below. We have plenty of kit that we have acquired through grants from the Hampshire Cricket Board and subsidised equipment from The Lords Taverners. Therefore there is no need to buy all the required equipment immediately, especially if your child just wants to try cricket to see if they enjoy it.
You can download Junior membership forms from our Membership page.
We hope to be able to start indoor training in March but this will naturally depend on the Covid19 situation.
There is no need to register, just turn up with your child and we'll do the rest!
Outdoor Junior training will hopefully take place at the ground after Easter (Covid19, weather and ground conditions permitting).
The club boasts 6 fully qualified ECB coaches, all of whom have been fully CRB checked and have attended Safeguarding & protecting children courses.
We usually enter one or more of our Under11, Under13 and Under15 squads into the South East Hants Cricket Association league. The fixtures will be confirmed in the spring.
As you would expect with kids involved the club takes Child Welfare very seriously. For full details of our Child Protection policies and other procedures please visit our Policies and Procedures page.
Hampshire Cricket run their own BTEC Level 3 in Sport course which might be of interest to some Junior club members.
This fully funded programme is available for those students aged 16 and above as an alternative to the traditional college or sixth form route and who love the game of cricket!
